About the Program:
Guarantee of Spot: We guarantee that we will be able to provide a childcare spot within the specified time frame chosen by your organization (either 1-3 months from your requested start date or 1-5 months from your requested start date - please consult relevant department in your organization). A secured spot can be either part-time or full-time. If a parent is initially offered a part-time spot but requires full-time care, they will be given priority to convert that spot into a full-time spot. Regardless of whether a full-time or part-time spot is offered, it fulfills our guarantee of securing a spot within the allocated time frame.
Parent's Decision: If an employee/member decides not to proceed with the offered spot, we will move to the next parent on the waitlist. In this case, Little Munchkin Daycare has fulfilled its guarantee by offering a spot to the initial parent, even if they choose not to accept it.
Enrollment Process: After the completing this sign-up form, please notify us of your submission to the waitlist by sending an email to inquiry@littlemunchkindaycare.ca. This ensures a streamlined process for corporate members to access our child care services.
Location Preference: Little Munchkin Daycare will make efforts to secure a spot in the employee/member's preferred location. If it is not possible, Little Munchkin Daycare will offer a spot in a location that has availability. Employees/members have the option to transfer to their preferred location once a spot becomes available there. Currently, this program is only offered at our locations in Vancouver (most locations are with-in 10-minute driving distance of each other)
Notification and Response: Little Munchkin Daycare will notify employees/members as soon as possible regarding the availability of a spot for their anticipated start date. In most cases, confirmation can be given around 20 to 30 days prior to the start date. Once a spot becomes available, we will notify the employees/members via email and require a response within a 24-hour period. They will need to complete the registration form and make the necessary payment for the registration fee and deposit to secure the spot.
Cancellation: If a employee/member leaves their organization while being registered at Little Munchkin Daycare through the partnership program, the member can still continue enrollment in the program but will no longer have priority access to other programs, such as Early Learners or schedule modifications (i.e., additional days).
Child Care Subsidy Eligibility: Enrolled families also enjoy the advantage of accessing the Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB) and Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI). These provincially funded childcare subsidy benefits work in conjunction with Little Munchkin Daycare’s enrollment to effectively reduce the overall cost of childcare. Additionally, being a group child care provider, parents are able to access greater subsidy rates compared to other care provider categories (family child care, occasional child care, etc). Our dedicated team is well-versed in assisting families to access these subsidies, making childcare more affordable and accessible.
Following the tour, parents must confirm with-in 24 hour period of the tour and complete the Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD). We recommend completing the registration link sent via email as soon as possible so we will have all details before your start date.
